I have a 2002 F350 7.3 wont start. It was running fine on a thursday shut it off when I got home, went away for the weekend and now It wont start. I replaced the fuel filter, Oil level is fine, ran some fuel out the valve behind the filter in case of water, replaced the batteries cause one was bad. Still wont start. Any ideas? truck has 210k miles, no upgrades strictly stock.
Its been a couple of years since I replaced it I guess it could be that didnt think of it. TBRADSIM a CPS is a cam position sensor it is located low on the front of your engine best accessed from the below the fromt bumper take off the wire harness take out one bolt with a 10mm wrench pop old one out pop new one in tighten bolt replace harness and you are done. When I replaced mine two or three years ago I did it about four times cause we couldnt figure out why my truck would just die at random.turned out to be a fuel module control (cant remember the real name) under the fender on the divers front wheel. Redford thanks I didnt think of that at all.
Well I replaced the cps that didnt do it. Any other ideas? TBRADSIM I was wrong that cps is not so low on the motor its about 11 oclock on your vibration damper, the big pully down low.
