brake problem

brake problem

02 7.3l developed a pull when i hit the brakes it pulls to the right even when i put it in neutral so i dont think its the rear end. ive also replaced both front brake lines and the left calipar.... any help? i think my next option is to replace the rear lines! any ideas? thanks

My first guess would be, did you lube the slide pins?? They get brake dusted up and coroded from the elements.

ya i lubed the front pins. maybe i should lube the back pins! today i replaced the rear rubber brake line that comes off the frame bracket to the rear end. still pulls but a lot better ! off to lube the pins thanks for the help !!!!

Have you installed the caliper slide pin upgrade? Mine pulled to the left until it finally got stuck and I had to replace the pins. It still pulled a little bit to the left until I replaced the ball joints.

dont know where you are at but I had a problem similar to this but ONLY when it was really really cold, Dont know what actually fixed it as I changed pads and calibers and it still did it I bled the brake lines and and had already changed the fluid in the reservior this seemed to work but it also got warmer out, I have not had this problem in a long so what fixed it, I am not sure, just glad it was gone.

ya i replaced my ball joints and tie rod ends about 3 months ago. so im pretty sure its not a loose part . i think im going to get the fluid flushed. it is black! it seems to be a lot better after i lubed all the slider pins. but still a little pull. thanks for the input !
