AE on an E99 with a '00 PCM

I'm heading over to Neal's tomorrow to install my new HPOP. We're gonna do some before and after data logging. My question is. On my early bird, do I need to enter the truck's model year or the pcm's year on AE?

PCM, ONLY the PCM or else you could mess up your GEM. I learned the hard way

Clay, enlighten me a little on what the problems could be. We put a later model PCM in an early '99 but have used the '99 year on the AE, I think.

Don't you guys ever sleep?

Huck, thanks for asking the question. You may have saved us some problems. It does make sense though since you are monitoring the info through the PCM.

According to AE, it has to know what PCM that you are using so that it knows the correct calibration codes. I am not sure why it messed up my GEM, but I was just in a hurry and forgot to double check which PCM I had in at the time since I had been swapping them back and forth and testing.
