I just got Mine here in Newport News. Funny thing is this is the Home town plant when they where built here in Norfolk.
The first owner did however take the checkered flag off the bed which deprciates the truck big time. It did however still have the 50th annv badges on it.
It has just a tad over 110k miles on it and I walked/Drove away with my baby for $2500 yes thats right!! I got a steal for it. I worked the guy and well CASH talks tire kickers just walk.
I do have some work to do to it I have a vacume line that has come loose or cracked for the AC cause its blowing just through the Defrost. So I have to start the mad search for it. Also the Rotors are going to need to be replaced soon. So not to bad I dont think!!!!!

I have one of the 3000 NASCAR Special Editions that I bought new on October 31, 1998. I try to take very good care of it, even though it is my daily driver.
The truck now has 260,000 miles on it and is on it's second engine. The original was still running great, but blew a head gasket at 242,000. No way was I going to just replace the head gaskets and let it go with that many miles. Finally ended up getting a Jasper reman. Only bad thing is that I really can't tell any difference in the way it runs (except for the coolant loss).
It still draws looks from everyone most places that I go, especially from the kids. Most of all, and best, *I* still enjoy driving and owning the truck.
One funny thing that I have noticed the las year or so, is people on the freeway thinking it is a police truck! They will come sailing up behind me, sometimes switch lanes to pass and suddenly they don't want to pass... Usually this happens in the mornings on my way to work when it is still dark. Really hilarious at times.

Have a question
Hey guys I gotta quick question. I know that in this thread you guys have talked about the 1998 NASCAR Edition truck, but my buddy told me about a supposed 1970s f-250 nascar edition for sale. I tried looking up info on the internet about a 70s nascar edition but I can’t find anything, was hoping someone in here might know something about it.
