this is such a great idea matt. I would love to contribute to your search but I think that I'm better off just buying one and paying you for your efforts, I don't know as much as a lot of people on here haha. Thank you for doing this.

That's ok, as a tech writer, you'd be suprised at the things that I write about that I don't know much about. It's all in the research and being able to interpret what you read. So if you feel like you'd have something to contribute, by all means send it along - even if it's just a link to an article or post that is a good write-up about how to isolate a fault or repair a component.
