Get Out Your Tape Measures
I am still pursuing finding a front sway bar for my 1965 styleside short box. But it seems that a change in the front frame width will limit which years will fit. My frame width is 33 3/4 " out-to-out half way between the front suspension and the bumper; there are holes in the bottom of the frame at this point on mine. I am guessing that Ford changed the frame width in 72 which is why I am asking for this survey. So all you 65 to 79 2 WD owners, how about sliding under the front and posting your frame width?

ole the measurement is the same from 65 through 79 on the front, rear changed in 73.
You need to look at the F250 for your bar, cause thats where they were installed.
