I have a chance to pick up a real nice 2001 F350 7.3L 4x4 for 100 bucks the truck runs and drives 275k but the bell housing is cracked and it 150+ miles from home any ideas on driving it back i don't have the money to have a tranny put in where its at, tack welding maybe?
on a dolly with your truck will be fine IMO! i say do it. i pulled a dodge 1 ton on a dolly with a chevy half ton for about 45 miles back home, it did fine. good luck!
Just pay for a wrecker to tow it, for a hundred bucks it would be worth the cost. Or just buy it for now while it is available and figure out how to get it home later.
$100!!!!!!!! I wish I were you right now!!!! I mean that sounds too good to be true. You playin' with us??? I say push it back home like Fred Flinstone if you have to.
Hey you sure there is nothing else of great importance wrong with this truck? What I am I saying, its only a 100 bucks! Get a tow service and do not think twice.
trailer for from uhaul is a 100 bucks and if you don't tell them what your towing, bring planks to make it over the fenders or bring some smaller tires or get aaa plus and then get them to tow it?
