Well, it was actually a little warmer this morning when I started messing with the horses. Blocks of ice that came out of the water buckets are actually thawing out(not much, but they are thawing) and no snow to be seen(so far, it did start to cloud up now though, didn't have clouds about an hour ago).
Weatherman isn't doing to good on his predictions so far, atleast with the 80% chance of it snowing through the night. Usually when you get up to 75-80%, he usually is pretty accurate, but so far hasn't been this winter. Which is good since I have to put good ole injector #7 back in today.
I am sitting here looking out the window myself waiting on it to get here. For your sake i hope it holds off, i hate working on something if it is cold outside
We are getting a dusting here finally it didn't start til 2 and it was suppost to start at noon. Ray we'll be warm come Saturday we'll have to open Neal's Garage doors
We got maybe 1/2" here in the Memphis area. They were predicting 2" - 4" earlier in the week. The grocery stores have been packed. Now everybody has a months worth of stuff and the stores are repacking stuff that will spoil before it gets bought. Everybody could throw rocks at our weatherman too! Kids did get out of school Thursday, but hated going back Friday.
Well we finally did get the 1-2 inches that they ended up forecasting before it fell. It took awhile, but right where I'm at(I can't vouch how much actually fell in Nashville, or Mboro) we got a little over an inch. Made the driveway a bare to get out, it slopes pretty steep til you get to the "main" road. I actually had to use 4x4 getting back from lunch because the ole girl was slippin and slidin, almost hit the bridge and a few trees as well.
