Not sure about your specific application,but on all the newer F-150,s its mounted forward over the passengers side seat,on the roof deck...I think your going to have to pull the headliner to do it right.
If you referring to a GPS antenna,it pretty much MUST be mounted on the exterior of the vehicle.
As I said earlier...dont take my word for it,as I could be completely wrong here.
the antenna on the roof on the passenger side is the sirius antenna. i know the factory nav antenna gets mounted behind the radio somewhere just dont know the exact factory location.
That being the case(which makes perfect sense),I would suspect the nav antenna is mounted under the flat plastic tray center of the dash above the radio.
I can only imagine you have this tray,as all of the newer model F-series trucks Ive seen have it.
I THINK the idea here is to make it possible for the antenna to "see" satellites with an unobstructed view of the sky.Under the tray(as previously mentioned) to me would be the best placement.
