I just bought a 1976 f-100 4x4, and the right side wheel sticks out about 2.5 inches more than the left, on vice versa, the left sticks 2.5 inches in more than the right. I did all the ovious, like check to make sure all the rims are the same they are. The cab is straight, there is not any sighns of a bent frame. The way the front right wheel sticks out more than the left, seems to be in track with the right rear wheel, and the right is about 2.5 inches of the left rear wheel.Any info would help.. thanks
You failed to mention how much lift the truck has. Because this suspension uses a tracking bar, as the truck is raised, the axle moves to one side. If the truck has a tall lift, the tracking bar has to be madified to re-center the axle under the frame. Hope this helps. Nathan

The truck is stock. It does not have a lift kit on it, maybe it did and the track bar was already modified. Thanks for the help.. Brady.
When I lifted my 79 F150 I had several parts trucks of various years on hand and compared the track bars to see if they were the same and they weren't so I used the longest one I had to center the axle. The point being: you may have the wrong track bar for your truck, or, if your springs are original, the springs may be sagging.
