HELP!

I replaced my spark plugs in my 76' F100 yesterday and afterwards went to start it and NOTHING!!! Same problem as dcassidy in this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...i-give-up.html. Its like there is no battery in the truck! I tested it and its fully charged. Arced solenoid and she turns over but wont fire. The damn cab lights wont even come on when you open the door or brake lights when you compress the pedal. Didnt see any fusible links along the right side as mentioned in that thread. Would they be in the same place on my 76 as his 85? All fuses are good in fuse panel, but its not getting power. I dont get it. Somebody please help me out...

The fusible links would be right on the solenoid where you jump it to crank the starter. They would be off the side that the cable from the battery hooks up to.

I read the post's on the link you provided, fellr086 and others are correct. Unless you were climbing around in the engine compartment and broke the supply wire from the solenoid to the fuse block. Please dont take this wrong, do you know what the fusable link looks like? Another way of testing them is with a test light or DVM. Make sure you have voltage to the link from the solenoid, then ensure you have voltage on the output side of the link. The piercing of the test light through the wire insulation makes this easy. If you have to, skin a "little" hole in the insulation with a knife to use regular meter leads. Then tape the hole up with electricle tape or put RTV over the hole in the insulation. RTV looks better. If the fusable links are good, the problem is down stream. This assumes you took the previous advice allready given, cleaning battery and solenoid conections, etc.
