Oil Problems

Oil Problems
Well My 300 keeps on Leakin oild from the oil cap and Oil keeps going into the air cleaner and filling up in There and Dirtining up my Air filter. Does anyone have any advise or pictures to show some allternatives on to what to do with this problem? It Just put a need mr. gasket oil cap on and i Replaced the crank case filter as well. But it still keeps on leaking and fillin it up. Ive ran out of ideas on to what to do so if ya can sheld some light on my problem i would gladly appreciate thanks.

I'm not sure what year you have - do you have both the oil filler cap *and* crank-case filter cap on one cap, or are they separate? (mine is separate). I removed the separate crankcase-cap-to-hose-to-airbox cap and installed a crankcase breather cap instead.

Its a 82 I have the same thing you have i think ima just do away with the air filter cover and get a Air cleaner and just run a Hose from the oil cap breather to a air cleaner.

rings cracked?
seal one valve cover hole and make sure dipstick seal is good. Then wrap black tape around a pressure gauge till it seals in other valve cover hole and see if you have abnormally high crankcase pressure.
