Average high here last week was 7 deg, 3ft of snow, and another 3 or 4 before it's all said and done. Lightest winter we've had since 00-01 though, usually have about 5 by now.

Well come on up, we have plenty.

I am out plowing again in two hours.
Spent 8 hours fixing my broken plow Saturday and 8 more hours Sunday, but I am ready to roll tonight.

New pivot point, replaced all the broken metal and all the hoses, drained the hydraulic oil and replaced it with new.

Almost like a new plow now, tight again.

Can I come down and lounge around in my Tee shirt and shorts?
We got clear up to 12 today.
Yesterday we never made it to 10.

And our ground has been white since 12/19/09 when we had about 16 to 18 inches of heavy wet snow.

I quit doing beers 30 years ago, got any coffee?

Coffee is on and the time is close, got snow to plow so I am out of here.

PS, snow is dollar bills falling out of the sky.
If we relocate them, we get to keep them.
I'll be back in about 10 hours.

I got into the 50's last night and tonight is more of the same. I had to put on long sleeve t-shirt and socks and shoes because my feet got cold.

I wish you guys would just keep that cold where it belongs, north of the border.

It has been well below normal here as well. It was 5 degrees sunday morning and we got about an inch today. They say we may get a few more on thursday. The peopel around here go nuts with snow, 1/2" and they think the world is ending. The first year I lived down here (grew up in northwest ohio) we got a little snow about 3" and it took me 4 1/2 hours to get home from work. Man I was cussing and screaming at people.

In winter of 2008 here we had so much snow on each side of the driveway, the snowblower couldn't throw the snow high enough to clean the snow bank.

Heres what the back yard looked like for over 3 months after the pic was taken!

And this wall is just over 8 1/2 feet tall.

Those pictures make me shiver. I couldn't live in that kind of climate.
Please keep all that arctic air up there.

Well I made it back in around 10 this morning and took a nap.

Better go nap some more, looks like I am out the door again tonight, it's still snowing.

60 dollars an hour is the going rate here for smaller lots.
We do the mall for 50 an hour, but we are there for hours at a time.
That varies by location quite a bit.

Big snow, we are there for days at a time.
27" in one snowfall back a couple years ago, I was there for three days.
