Well I made it back in around 10 this morning and took a nap.
Better go nap some more, looks like I am out the door again tonight, it's still snowing.
60 dollars an hour is the going rate here for smaller lots.
We do the mall for 50 an hour, but we are there for hours at a time.
That varies by location quite a bit.
Big snow, we are there for days at a time.
27" in one snowfall back a couple years ago, I was there for three days.

I am jealous Dave, wish it would snow! Normally this time of year in Southern Oregon we have about 3 foot on the ground and fresh snow every week or two. This morning I got up to rain and it rained all day!

-22F here this morning, hit a high of -4F, sure didn't see that coming! supposed to stick around till friday then warm up to highs of +20F for the weekend. Great news, I can go snowmobiling all weekend!

Man it is hard to get enthused about snow, especially when you have to fight it every day, to feed cattle. Here we have about ten inches, and the wind rearanges it every day, so you have to open a new trail every day.

Hey Rick I feel your pain! I spent two weeks last month with frozen/broken pipes. Had to haul water in jugs from the pump house for over a week! Next time you know its getting below 30 degrees leave all your inside water faucets dripping just a bit, this keeps the water in the lines running and they wont freeze.

Yes,I left them all running EXCEPT the one outside going in the laundry room!I forgot that one,I aint never been accused of being the smart child,Smokey,thats funny,I have lots of family inNC, and my sister in law and her wild bunch live not far from columbus,little town called Cosseta.Have you been back to Santa Rosa County Lately? If you havnent, all you missed was the new Walmart!Most every thing is the same.I got to go drip the water,ALL of it this time,its 27 out there now.BRRRR!!!!My chickens dont like this cold either,they stopped laying...
