To the PITSHOP...your method is smart and cheap . .good thinking....and to Charlie, do you have wide fenders? and what size wheel + tire + backspace are you running there. I like the width you have on your Tire?

The wheels are 11x17 and the tires are Nitto 555s 315/35. The fenders are stock width, that is the whole reason for tubbing the bed...get more clearance without changing the fenders. I don't recall the backspace measurement but my backspace may not work for someone else since the width of the 9 inch rearends vary considerably.

I used the trailer fenders to build my tubs. I bought mine from Northern. Their fenders feature the same roll on both sides of the fender which allowed me to cut it in half and form both tubs. I did have to cut and weld in the skirts.
