2011 SD dually fenders

I keep hearing alot of complaints about the appearance of the new dually fenders. I have yet to see a set. Anybody got a link or 10 to some pics? I searched the net and see abunch of srw trucks but not a dually without all of the vinyl "camo".

The dually fenders can't be any uglier than the front end of the truck. Could be wrong though.

that front air dam is def. helping airflow but wont last on a real offroad application...

those flares are godawful..im surprized they didnt do similar to what GM did and make the entire side of the box incorperate the flare as one peice..

style wise it flows better then a bolton eye sore..

dodge is still using them when you get the mega cab w the only bed avail...6foot. they use a better looking fender on the 8 foot bed.

Yeah, fortunately they changed them for the 2010 model year. They look much better than previous years on both the crew cab and the mega cab.

i was gonna say the same thing about the chevy. my neighbor has a chevy dually and he hit a deer about 4 days ago and it peeled the fender and the bed like a tuna can. atleast with the older setups you just replace the fiberglass dually fender and not the whole bed. but i guess you never have to worry about the bed rusting off if its gets replaced all the time......

Exactly. While I like the styling on the new Dodge dually fenders, I think Ford made the right move here. While they're not as good looking as the old dually fenders, you won't have as much tied up in a body shop bill if something happens to one of them. I can't tell you how many duallies I see around here daily that have damaged fenders....Fords, Dodges, and GMs.

godam Dodge needs to extend the rear doors on the maxicab...

all that room is great , but the cab looks goofy as hell with the way theres so much space behind the door

they should have extended the door so the overall visual is more in line with the front door...

on that front Ford needs to extend the crewcab aswell, we could use a larger cab TBH... but thats for the next major change i suppose and not just a new bumper/grill and call it all new...

I swear that over the last few years everybody is having a contest to see who can make the ugliest truck. After about 3 or 4 years I finally get used to the looks and start complaining about the next body style to come.
