ANOTHER Hub question please
Just got an 89 F-150 4x4. It has the AUTO hubs with 5 little HEX25 torx nuts holding on the outer cover. If I decide to swap to Manual hubs will I need a conversion kit?. I've read on here that with the auto hubs with the 5 screws you do NOT need a conversion kit and the 3 screw hubs you do?. I need to know for sure. Or should I just remove the hubs and clean and re-grease them?. Truck never see's off-road or I'd just swap to manual hubs. Just snowy roads.

My suggestion would be to contact the manufacturer of the hubs. I am sure they can tell you. Warn was always good to me when I had questions. Warn Industries - Winches, Mounting Systems, Accessories, Hubs, Air Compressors, Flares, Lights, Body Amor.
