I think its the IPR. I forget sometimes. haha.
There is a nut down there that has o-rings and degrades.
Others can tell you more.

my HPOP is leaking and mine is the big plug on the top pass. side of the pump you can't see it just by looking it's under the wiring harnnes that runs over the top of the HPOP to the GPR and pass. side vavle cover

what is your fuel pressure with the shim you should not be any higher than 75 psi. you can check it with a normal tire gauge at FPR

the reason i ask is that i have seen with to high of a psi. it will push fuel out of the o-ring under the fuel filter cap

if there is a lot of grim in the valley and you are pushing fuel out it could look like oil

there is no way for any of our guys on here to tell you where the oil is coming from with out seeing the truck. sure, we could guess, but simply knowing its from the front of the engine tells us nothing. is it in the front of the valley or the actual front of the engine? your going to have to clean everything up decently and fire it up and look for it with the engine idling. i haven't seen an IPR o-ring actually leak oil into the valley, but it can happen. also there are o-rings on the fittings of the HPOP. the HPOP gasket could start leaking oil, the HPOP lines could leak, the fittings in the heads could leak.. lots of places to have an oil leak. clean it up and check it out. with it all cleaned up and the engine idling it won't take long before you find your leak.
