01 Sort Trac OD light flashing
My wifes 01 sport trac has an issue once in a while. The OD light will start flashing, then it wont stop until you turn off the truck. If you restart it, it doesnt flash. Not sure what is causing this, as it does not seem to be flashing a code, but just keeps flashing at the same rate. Any clues?

My '01 sport trac 4x4 started doing the same thing, I let it go and then one day my tranny went out. I would advise that you have it looked at immediatly, you might be able to save a few $$ doing it now before it goes out completely. It cost me around $2000.00 to have it rebuilt. Hope this helps

My '01 sport trac 4x4 started doing this around 120,000 miles and I let it go, then one day the tranny went out completely. I would advise getting it checked out now before it stops working completely, you might be able to save a few $$. It cost me around $2000 to get mine rebuilt. Hope this helps
