my truck is stock right now its a 77 F150 4x4 i want to get 550tq out of it my questoin is what will i need to do to the frame and suspension i know that the 9" ford in the rear can handle that much power i am going with a Detroit Locker in rear with 4.56 gears in front it has a dana 44 can that handle that much power i am going all new forged axels in front Detroit Tru track up front can i stay with the stock tortion bars in front or no?.The tranny is a Manual C-6 and Transefer case is NP-205 can the transfer case handle it i know that the C-6 can. The tires are going to be 38" Super Swampers with a 3" body lift and 6.5" suspension lift now what else will i need for it because i dont want to get it on the road or off roading and hammer on it and feel the motor twist snap the axels and the frame snap in half.

WELL THAT T-CASE WILL BE THERE WHEN THE REST IS NOT AND YOU TRANS WILL MOST LIKELY HOLD UP IF YOU TAKE CARE OF IT. BUT WITH THAT SIZE OF TIRES AND GEARS YOU WILL NEED TO CHAGE THAT REAREND IT MIGHT LAST OF A LITTLE WHILE BUT WITH IN A YAER IT WILL BE GONE, I PROMISE. YOUR FRONT AXLE WILL HOLD AS BOUT AS LONG AS YOU REAR, I HOPE I HELPED, IF YOU PUT A BIG ENGINE IN AND BIG TIRES AND GEARS, YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE ALL THE REST. I PROMISE

Charlie is right, these axles are tough, but to an extent. You will break them under these loads and driving habits, but not before trashing several u-joints and drive shafts. Convert to Dana 60s or better and have severe duty shafts and joints. They'll still break, just not as often.
