That's not rusty, you need to see what's in Eastern Canada for rust. I'm rebuilding a 78 S cab that needed the roof replaced, both doors, fenders and hood. And she's going to be a custom flatdeck. I would jump for joy if that was my truck you have there, she's well worth some time to fix her up.
Other than the "custom" paint job that truck is in good shape. Those cab corners are better tham mine. Ole Rusty just needs some TLC and it will be a sweet ride.

Yeah, it's not that bad. I'm dieing to take a sander to it and start bodywork and priming, but I don't have a garage to work in right now. It's just too cold here to do anything. I can't wait 'til spring.
It looks like its in real good shape for the year it is. So what are you going to name it when all the work is done to it? It wont be rusty after its done. You could build a carport or something an run some heat & lights to it for temp.
