Just a little info from a guy who literally breaks brakes as a hobby.
If you get slotted rotors where the slot doesn't go all the way to the rotor edge, they won't crack from the concentrated stress point there. I also suggest a higher MOT pad if you encounter this. If you don't check for this cracking and catch it as soon as it starts, you might encounter the dreaded exploding rotor next time you really need them:
Not to scare you guys...
[edit]: I just realized the only pics I post are of broken stuff, lmao.
Extreme Performance Roto-Tech Cryo rotors provide you with maximum Stopping Power and will run 100-200 degrees cooler. This reduces warping, which allows for greater braking power and in many cases longer Pad life. The combination of Cross Drilled holes and Slots are constantly enabling the braking surface to be cleaner thus providing improved friction bite.
The drilled chamfered holes provide an exit route for Gas and Dust, resulting in better Heat Dissipation. The holes are also commonly called "cooling holes" .With COOLER Running Rotors there is less Brake Fade. The holes also dissipate water away from the friction surface when driving in poor weather.
Not sure what the difference is between FrozenRotors and PowerSlot, but they sell both and can probably ask them what the differences are.
