Auto 2 Stick
OK well the tranny in my truck is gone. i was wondering if any body out there has converted a 79 F-100 to a stick shift. Im planning on either swapping in a 4 speed w/OD or a 4 speed granny low. is there any little tricks that i need to know? like what parts i will need and such. Thanks for any information.

BR, you bees looking at a project, tis a heck of a lot easier to change from man. to auto than the other way round. Adding clutch, linkage, peddles, changing the column is a lot tinkering. I'd rebuild the tranny and save the headach.
If you must, find a donor and get your tranny, and all the parts from the same unit and use them as a guide.
And make sure to be in the same engine family, for proper boltup to the engine.
