Found a 76 on eBay cheap
Found the 76 on eBay, I don't know who it belongs to but it looks pretty good for the price so I thought I would share.
It is in FL and is $750 BIN and at $350 Bid. Search item # 200423843997

You may still be able to register it, however it will always show the words SALVAGE on the title.
So long as the problems were repaired and the vehicle inspected they will register it, selling it with a salvage title on the other hand is going to be a problem.
