I've been reading about a spray on bed liner called 'Bud's'. I wonder if anyone has experiance with it, or with another brand. And if so, any tips would be appreciated.
I have body work/paint experience, and will be using it on inside the bed on my '75 long bed. The bed is almost bare metal now.
good luck w/ that decision....., several guys are and have used several different types, some are even selling them, I did some research and I went w/ Qwikliner, Al's, durabek or something like that are among the few that I can remember , they all seem to be around them same cost for the upper shelf liners, varying amongst their applicator guns being cheaper but the product cost more in some cases...best advice... do your own research and make an informed decision... this way you won't be able to blame anyone but yourself if it is wrong. Some of the cheaper liners say that the repairs are easy to make??, just cut out a section and re-apply....?? why did it get cut up/damaged in the first place??? ask alot of questions and get referrences from those who have used it. Coverage and fading are other questions to ask...along w/ durability and how it is applied
Hopefully going to spray in Duplicolor Spray in bed liner into my lastest project next week; if weather is'nt such a bear. We got to respray a 54 Studbaker Commander first of the week; then hopefully can spray my bed; and allow it to sit 24 to 48 hrs in the paint booth.
