Replace dash lamps
I think the panel has to come out from the front. If anyone know how to do this it would save me a lot of time for me to figure it out.
I think I read somewhere that it is best to replace all of them as the rest will go out soon. I think there is led's to replace these lamps.
Would appreciate any help I can get.
Look at your headlight switch. At the bottom you'll notice a small flat spot that you can get a small flatblade screwdriver in. Gently pry the headlight switch out. Once it starts to come out, grab it with your fingers and pull it out. Unplug the wires from the back of the switch and set it aside. Next (or first) get a set of those U-shaped radio removal tools and stick them in the holes on each side of your factory radio. The tool will release the spring clips and allow you to pull the radio out of the dash. Unplug the wires and antenna and set it aside.
There are 2 little screws above where the radio used to be. You can loosen them, but I always forget to so it's not required. The hole from the headlight switch gives you a nice place to grab. Your dash panel snaps into place, so if you pull on it you can get it to unsnap. Start at the headlight switch and work your way around the dash panel till you've got all the clips loose. You'll need to unplug wiring to the 4x4 switch, cigarette lighter, and passenger airbag light. Now you can set the dash aside.
Your instrument cluster is held in with some screws that you can now see. Remove the screws and the cluster lifts out. If you unplug the connectors it will be easier to replace the bulbs. They're easy to spot once you get that far.
