351-M lifters
I have a '77 351-M that had low oil pressure. I just finished installing a new oil pump and new main bearings to fix the oil problem. This worked well to get the pressure up but the engine seems to stall and miss when I step on the gas, it idles fine though. I fugured the hydraulic lifters were probaly shot so I replaced them with new ones but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I thought I might have tourqued the rocker arms down to tight so I retightened them as loose as I could with it still opening the valves but this still didn't fix it. Any suggestions?
