Just curious, can anyone give me the torque specs for the axle pivot bolts on a 4wd? I replaced my bushings (which were generally easier than I thought), and went to tighten them, but could not find the spec. I found the spec for the 2wd TTB, (120 to 150 or something like that) and tightened them to that spec.
I took it out fou a drive, but it was squeaking a little. It this common until they get some miles on them, or is there another problem?
I had to spray a little white grease to get them to slide into the brackets since I did it without taking out the axle shafts and such. I only used the rubber ones, but the front seems to sit a little higher now. I torqued it to the 2wd specs, and I figure it should hold fine, but I am a little **** about this stuff and want to make sure it is within the ball park at least.
I dont know if this is what you're looking for but here is what Hayness has.
