I read in another post that the O2 sensors on 4.0 OHVs wear out around 60k, and that it can cause a drop in fuel economy.
My 1999 4x4 has 74k miles and I'm getting 15-16 mpg consistantly.
Is the O2 sensor an easy R&R or will I need to have a repair shop do it?
Once I get the sensor replaced, what can I expect for fuel economy? It seems that most 4.0s are getting around 18-20 mpg.
Thanks!
