Chris I had 2 projects in mind until I went to the Bean's Dyno Day and now I have 3. One being a 60s F100/F150 short box with a little 289 that I have but would be fuel injected. Second thought is a 99 F150 Supercab 4x4 with a turbo or supercharged 5.4. Now for my 3rd thought is a 03 F350 Single Cab 4x4 with a Cummins conversion.
The 99 would probably be the jump in and knock it out project.
The 64 0r 67 would be alot of labor - sandblasting, body work, and assembly. Very satisfying in the end.
The F350 would be a big challenge - acquire tools I don't have and digging deep in my pockets for a budget buster. The power results would be over the top with the Cummins.

Can I help?
That Fummins idea intrigues me too.
You guys have some cool sounding projects. Need some help? i woul dlove to help if I can.
I like the project logs here now this is defiantly getting interesting. New slogan for the TN Chapter "Have tool and fuel, will drive" lol. The 150 sounds like a neat little idea those lightnings can be made into some quick little guys.
Tim your close to Beans they can give you all the tips and pointers you need, heck they'd probably loan you some tools out for a good price.
Now my self I would LOVE a 79 F-250 Crew cab 12v conversion or convert a F-250 Highboy over and really fix it up. I love those trucks with a decent lift and Wheel and tire combo.
