In thirteen days we have had 29 degrees up to 88 ...rain...snow....wind all the way to 76 gusts and 40/51 sustained...it is crazy. My house is at 5995 altitude and now where in the state are we not in high wind waring...and they say weeks more....

Damn, looks like 49 was the fastest, that's some serious wind! It's like that in Cheyenne, Wyoming. All the time. About drove me nuts the year I lived there.

 

It seems we (the planet) has had some tough weather all over after the Japan earth quake...not saying anything here ....but...

 

Yeah, and the weather in the southeast. Just one of those years, I guess. I just hope we dont' have a cool, wet summer.

Funny you ask...I am a big kite guy...I have 26 kites one I use for land sailing square 10' x 15' and right now I have nothing I can fly way too strong...

 

Man, that's a BIG kite!! Bet that pulls you pretty good, though.

 

I wear harness when flying it....it is unbelievably powerful.

But a hoot

I assume land sailing is letting the kite pull you. You could get the riffraff out of the state cheap though, just tie them to kites. Nebraska is a rich state they can absorb them.

 

Hey now, we have plenty of riffraff, send them to Jersey...

 

No, that's way too close to Vermont. We got enough scum coming in from neighboring states for our awesome welfare system that will eventually tax all the working people out. They need to stay on the west side of the Mississippi.
