At this point I still prefer the look of the old ones (probably because I'm so used to them) but the new ones definitely make bed access better from the side. I'm betting they grow on me just like every othe change they've made.
UGLY - and thats after owning one for 6 months. I did measure the fuel door clearances of the "old" trucks and the fenders will clear. I'm thinking the right body shop could swap these ugly ones out even if the contours are exact.
I love driving my new truck but when I look at it I'm just not completely satisfied (especially since I'll be paying for it for 7 years). I've decided it stems from not liking the dually fenders, not liking the too big front fenter flare. The front flare does look better on last years 450 when you put the 19.5"s under them. The 17" wheels look fine when you don't have that flare.
I haven't seen a 2011 dually in real life but they look good to me from the various pics people have posted on here. Also, I thought the dually in the rockies shoot out video looked just great.
I love the look of Ford Super Duties in all flavors from 1999. And not to derail this but I was just thinking today as I saw a 99-00 7.3 drive by how those still look darn good after 12 years. I'd have one again without a second thought.
