I have been running the NAPA 6637(?). Stopped by my local NAPA store today and the price has gone from $30.00 to $62.59.
Suggestions as to an alternative filter?
Thanks guys. I like the filter but at $62.59 it should include a jar of KY. I was looking for a cross reference to another filter. I know someone manufactures the filter for NAPA and someone else sells the same filter under another brand name one hell of a lot cheaper. Any suggestions?
hey guys, I have heard you can get a Wix 6637 from Filter1.com for $28. and its free shipping if you purchase over $50. the only thing is you have sign up for free with them. i did last night and will be ordering my air filter in the next day or two.
Oh really? I haven't really looked into them. It was cheap so I thought i'd let you guys know. I used to use their fuel filters in my Camaro I used to have, seemed like a good product but maybe not for their air filters.
Since NAPA Gold is made by WIX and seem to be equal in quality from what I can tell I would go with the best price. I tend to use WIX just because O'Rielly's is open and NAPA is closed when I buy my parts but I think on some filters NAPA actually has the best prices but if they are closed I can not shop there. NAPA customers tend to close shop 4-5 PM is the reason they do not stay open until 9 PM.
I found that to be true myself. Instead of ordering one 46637 I ordered wix filters for my two cars and my 7.3 truck. After paying shipping I still saved $100. Hell of a deal!
