well i thaught so too till i priced these Ford Crate Engines, Mustang Engine, Ford Cobra Replica Engines, Ford Truck Engines, 302,351w, Ford Stroker Motor, Ford Performance Engines
lol but those are built engines u know some high horsepower ones unlike a stock lightning

To say the least. You could easily do a 6BT swap for that price and actually have some pulling power. Or build a stout SBF and have plenty of top-end. People who buy crate engines, especially stockers, are the definition of 'more-money-than-brains'.

Thay do it for the Full Warranty on the engine, i am going Crate when my (302) dies !!
