E-150 E4OD TRANS. PROBLEM
I just had my tranny rebuilt on the 11th of Dec. It was slipping and the OD light would come on. I've only driven 200 miles and now its doing the same thing. Cost me 1780.00 
. Of course i'm going to take it back, but heres the strange part. It was doing fine ,but today just as i turned on the defroster, i smelled a burning smell and the trans. started to slip again. OD light came on and it shifted very hard. I can't think of any connection between the defroster and the transmission. I raised the hood when i got home and could see smoke or steam coming from the compressor, so i guess it's shot. Just thought it was kinda weird that they both went out at the exact same time. Anybody got any thoughts ?
