1976 manual steering conversion
What all is required to convert a 1976 F-150's manual steering to power steering. I am just now beginning to plan a complete restoration but can't handle the old bricklayer's steering.

ws if you plan it right it will go easier. Consider any and all modifications that you would like to do to the truck and work towards it, like the sd to auto etc.
First thing you gotta have a donor. Find a donor with the same engine family as yours, and same tranny. You will need, the pump, mounting brackets, pullies, gear, cooling return line, hoses, and the steering column (the ps is shorter).
All 65 - 79 frontend parts are interchangeable.
