1991 Stereo Replacement

Guys,

My newly purchased 91 E150 Club Wagon Van came without tunes. The guy pulled it out, and never replaced it with anything.

I NEED MY TUNES!!

Trying to find a stock stereo to replace it has proven to be difficult. The Ebay part #'s are like F4UF-19B165-AD.

I called a local Ford dealership, and was given a part # of
F0CZ18806C

Is this worth my time trying to find the 'right' stereo that will plug into my existing wire harness, or should I just do a custom install at this point?

Nope.

You are wasting time.

Go to buy your radio from any aftermarket.

Then hardwire the harness to the factory one.

So, what mounting systems have you guys used on these after market systems?

Any brands, or url links to mounting brackets would be appreciated... Greg

I JUST pulled by old radio out to put a new JVC radio in, if your interested, I can sell you the original factory one, its in good working/cosmetic condition. Email me if your interested:

Oh, and yes, I have a 91' econoline as well, so the harnesses should match up perfect!
