my dealer... But im not saying what one. you have to scoure the country looking for me.
Now that said keep one thing in mind the dealer experance has alot to do with the techs that are empoyed there. By nature of the industry we move around alot so I think it may be more of an important matter to find a tech that you like and know somewhat and follow him/her if they move on.
It is refreshing to hear some postive comments but I have not had a serious problem addressed by a dealer in many years so no reccomendation. I am going with cheezit on this. If you think about bad experiences posted here in the passed, many involved dealership changing hands. You can't expect techs to come here and beat thier drum very loud so I will put my $0.02 in the discussion on their behalf. Most skilled mechanics are somewhat like a seperate intinity or contractor since they are paid relative to production, redos, repeat customers who ask for them so he wants your bussiness regardless what is happening on the sales floor or elsewhere. As stated, techs do move around so if you like and trust yours, write down your name, vehicle, contact info and give it to him on your next visit with the request"if you ever leave here, let me know". (If you wrap a $20 bill around the note there is less chance he might misplace it) I don't't intend to minumize value of dealership reccomendations, just suggest additional action that helps protect investment and potentialy reduce stress if your truck has to go in for repair.
