upfitteres are just a plug and play. they go right beside the TBC. That little coin tray just pops off.

There is a special plug on the back of the switch pack that requires the wiring/relay harness. Unless you want to rip the pack apart and hardwire it but after doing my own installation I would highly recommend the wiring/relay harness. I bought the pack under the plan like yours, to do my own wiring but didn't want to get into tearing the pack apart so I had to buy the harness.
