Front Springs
I have been looking to replace the springs on my '79 f250. I have been looking at the LMC catalog to see what it will take. Here is my problem. The suspension on the truck looks like the one shown in the book for a '73-'77. The shock mounts are in the same place and it shows the same number of leafs that I have on my truck. The picture for the '77-'79 does not even come close to what I have. Does anyone know if Ford used the '73-'77 setup in the '79 year models. Everything looks original. Thanks for the help.

Front Springs
In '76 Ford started to use the "reverse arch" front springs on the F-250's. This means the springs are curved down on the ends (like a rainbow). This was done to lower the profile of the later '70's trucks. Prior to '76 the "positive arch" (curved up on the ends, just like the rear) springs created a higher bodyline and the Hi-boy nick name.
