speedo gauge

Hi all
Just had a quick question- are each of the individual gauges lighted - ie fuel, oil, amp or does the whole cluster have one light? I drove my truck at night and it is completely dark.

If I remember correctly is has three bulbs and easy to replace if your hands fit behind the dash.

Could be the bulbs, but could also be the headlight switch, it turns to adjust brightness and the rehostat can get dirty or go bad.

I will start with the bulbs, are they still available at a local parts store?

I would think. The number on one I had in the toolbox was 1895.

Bulbs can also be replaced with LEDs. burn longer and hold up to rough driving. you can find them on the internet or at Jeffs Bronco Graveyard and E bay

There are bulbs back there but the most common cause of this problem it the headlight switch.

Check it soon. This is a sign that you switch is going to go out. Had mine go out while driving through canyons at night.
