Static on radio issue....

Static on radio issue....
Ok guys....your smart...i need some help....

I just installed an hid kit on a 2007 toyota rav4......lights work great...but the radio is now static when the headlights are on...

Both the ballasts are grounded through the mounts to the body.....and the wiring harnesss are grounded right to good body grounds......


Any thoughts???

Return them as defective assuming they are properly grounded.

They're electrically noisy due to either inadequate shielding or poor design.

the weird part is i put the exact same set of ballasts in another car a month ago and they're fine.....and both ballasts i put in this time do it....not just one...
