tire size

can somebody please tell me whats the difference between 295/70R17 and 33-12.50-17 Nitto Mud Grapplers

the 295/70/17 is messures out to be a 33.3" tire.

and the 295/70/17 is 11.6" wide vs the 12.5" wide on the 33

well do u know if the 33-12.50-17 nitto mud grappler would fit a 2006 ford f150 supercrew 2x4 w/no lift kit the 295/70R17 nitto terra grappler fit they just scratch when i make a full turn can u tell me if they would fit the same or if i need a lift kit thanx
