Are you keeping it fuel injected or are you going with a carb?

gunna switch it over to carb. too many little sensors to mess up. one stupid sensor can make for a real crappy day if it gets wet

I've never had problems with EFI getting wet.. seriously, i've had more problems just sucking up water and mud then actually getting something to wet to work. For the most part any electrical connections can just be greased up and never have a problem.

However, when its something not water... EFI can be a bitch.

You can do a lot with an EFI setup, it will just cost a bit more than with a carb lol.

What are the plans for the project?

If a mud truck, then yeah go for the carb setup if you plan to build a performance motor.

But, if you plan to have this thing on any sort of angle offroad I would stick with the EFI setup, like prozon says dielectric grease is your friend!
