Can anyone tell me were I might find a factory part number listing. I'm restoring my 1978 F-250, and would like too know some part numbers to look for. I'm interested in Lariat options, if anyone has any please let me know.
What exactly do you mean by 'part no. list'? Most of the parts on a 78 or 79 are the same from 73 up with possibly minor revisions. Most part numbers for 78-9 will start with D8T or D9T with the rest of the number depending on what area of the truck it's for, like chassis, body or engine. Autokrafters (.com) offer both NOS and repop parts for these trucks.
Thank you, The part numbers I am refering to are for options that were available. Items such as Lariat door panels, emblems, sport steering wheel etc. I would like to buy some of these items but the ford parts men do not have the time to give me the part numbers, so I would like to get a copy of the part numbers for my reference.
Solidaxle...my uncle use to be a parts manager at a Ford dealership...he gave me the 78 truck shop manual for the engine and also for the body and electrical...if this helps you out in anyway..please let me know and we can try and get you the information you need!
Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if the body manual will help me though. I have a complete set of factory manuals for a 1977 model, and this does not show what i want, or need. As an example,
I the part # d8.... describing that this is a Lariat door panel. I'm not sure were I can find these numbers. Perhaps your uncle may know were I might find them.
