new here. currently driving a 96 f-350 7.3L T with just over 44k yeah 44,200ish to be exact. this truck was bought by my grandfather new in late 95 and has only been used to move equipment and furniture. recently had to start driving this due to my other highly modded car having well lets just say i waisted 7K on a race motor and it blew.
anyways I'm looking to do some mods so far it has some sort of exhaust and had the transmission beefed up by a local truck tuner (this was back in 2002).
the rest of the performance is stock. I'm looking to make a custom 4" Intake I'm not going to be doing a 6637 mod since to be honest I could do much better for about the same amount of money. I've made a few Intakes for friends cars, 07 Chrysler 300c (6.1L), 06 Hyundai Sonata (3.3L), 2005 Kia Sportage (2.7L), 86 Toyota Corolla (2.4L s/c swap), 09 Scion XB, 02 Silverado (5.3).
this will be the biggest intake I've made but it looks like it will be the easiest.
at the same time i will be doing a CCV mod. my budget is $90 for both.
welcome to FTE
here we will help you blow your budget, you will be infected with PMS (Powertroke Mod Syndrome) and there ain't no cure.

also remember to swing by your local chapter and say hi and get to know a few other ford owners
I glanced through the write up looks good, although I would invest in a high quality fine tooth sawzall blade cause if you don't plan on pulling the transmission the original down pipe won't come out in one piece.
the tymar instructions have the cuts for the original in them.
currently in the reserves so i can finish school. served one tour in iraq in 07-08.
currently live in south Phx. 35th ave and baseline. i have a buddy that does exhaust work so i may have him look at it. speaking of tranny i need to do a flush ive already got all the crap just need to do it. need to do the rear diff. as well.
also i work for checker auto parts (for now) so i have access to a lot of parts.
