sealing the sending unit
Hi all,
Recently replaced my bed and while it was off I replaced the sending unit (truck was empty when gauge read 1/8th). It leaked like a sieve. Took it back out and cleaned the lip that the sending unit sits on and it leaked like a sieve. Did it again with gasket sealer, still leaking.
Any Idea's?

I don't mean to sound smart 
but did you replace the rubber seal under the sending unit flange? Did the sending unit retainer ring feel tight after reinstallation? Did the rubber seal stay in its groove on the top of the tank?
