Squeaking from engine
Hey everyone. I have a squeaking noise coming from my engine. It does it with the belt off so I know it's not a pulley. This morning I replaced the harmonic balancer and that didn't solve the problem. Taking off the timing gear cover right now... Anyone have any ideas?auberge help point me in the right direction. Thanks on advance.

That was it!! Lol. If I would have posted this yesterday ur answer would have saved me slot of time...but regardless, we got a reman one because the bushing wore out and was squeaking. When we got it all back together though there was another noise which we think is the belt. Apparently I had two problems and didn't know it. Going to get another belt in the morning. I think the one I have is to tight and causing the noise. If I spray belt dressing on it, the noise gets worse, so I'm assuming it's to tight. Will let u know tomorrow if all is fixed. Thanks for ur response!
