Exaust Manifold
Is there any of the stud sticking out of the manifold? If there is,put a vise grip on the stud as tight as you can and heat the manifold with an oxy/acetelene torch until it glows, then turn it out.Don't know if it will work for you but it has worked all the times I have tried it.Don't know what to do if it's broke off flush with the manifold,possibly drill out and use an EZ-out.I've never had any luck with those.

I have had luck with the torch method mentioned above- something about the difference in properties of cast iron vs. steel- but it has done the trick for me. The only tip I have is this: use brass nuts on the studs when you put them back on. I have done this and it works fine- it also makes the job a lot easier the next time around.

Also coat the new stud(s) with anti-sieze and you will never fight them again. They will come right out :7 .
