i have a 99 F-250 crew with v-10 just put plow on it looking to upgrade the tranny. what all they do to really beef it up what does it usually run roughly for something like that.
Factory tech valve Body and the 6.0 tranny cooler. but since you have the V10 i think you have a bigger one anyway not as big as the 6.0 but bigger than the 5.4 and 7.3 so you should be ok. But defiently the FTVB i ordered mine this mourning and i bought the 6.0 tranny cooler.

Good call...
Heat is what kills these transmissions and any transmission; the cooler you keep them the better.
The V10 does indeed have a bigger trans cooler than the 7.3 and 5.4, but I would still recommend upgrading to atleast the 26 row 6.0 trans cooler. I've had one for almost a year now and my trans loves it!
Either the FTVB of the John Woods Valve Body seem to be the best for these trucks so either will do if you're looking to beef up your trans and get some longevity out of it.
